The Table Food Ministries
of Benton United Methodist Church

 Monthly Food Pantry
Applicants for the monthly food pantry have to meet USDA guidelines. Our food is purchased and delivered by the NWLA Food Bank on the Tuesdays before distribution. We follow all protocols set forth by the NWLA Food Bank and USDA, are inspected yearly for compliance, and have received perfect evaluations since beginning the program in 2010. The monthly food boxes/bags differ each month depending on availability. Important information:
  • Benton UMC is a Food Distribution Agency of the Northwest Louisiana Food Bank
  • Food distribution is on the third Wednesday of each month from 12:30 p.m. until 4:00 p.m.
  • For application or qualification information, contact Rachel Stoneman at (318) 935-8515

Benton UMC Emergency Food Pantry
We have emergency boxes available for families in immediate need of food. They are not currently enrolled in the NWLA Food Bank Program, but will be informed of the program when they pick up their box. The families call the church directly or are referred to us by the NWLA Food Bank, local churches and other agencies. These food boxes are filled by the generous donations of the congregation by guidelines set by our church mission team. Please call the church office at 965-2273 for more information on the pantry, how you can help or if you are in need of assistance.
